Message From The Chief:
With the winter weather upon us, I would
like to take this opportunity to remind
everyone of those helpful hints while
driving. Remember to leave plenty of
distance between your vehicle and the
vehicle in front of you. Allow extra
time when traveling and always drive
at speeds that allow you to mantain
control at all times. Another way we
can prepare is to always keep at least
a half of tank of gas in your vehicle
and a warm blanket and candle that can
be used if you become stranded and while
waiting on help to arrive.

and happy one.
ISP offers the following
important reminder:
If you’re driving in downtown Indianapolis
between January 27 and February 5, 2012,
turn your GPS off. It won’t get you where
you want to go. Due to the increased volume
of visitors and activities, there will
be traffic restrictions throughout the
downtown area. Many one-way streets will
become two-way, and some streets will
be completely closed off to traffic.
